BFA exhibition 2021

The BFA degree show presents different conceptual worlds and means of expression which these young artists have adopted, displaying them in the context of the grand new gallery spaces at Kuva/Tila. In addition to functioning as reflections of internal worlds, these powerful, and at times incredibly delicate works portray individual ways of understanding transience and spatiality as well as the preconditions for existing in the world.

The participants of the BFA degree show are artists finalizing their Bachelor’s degree at Uniarts Helsinki's Academy of Fine Arts. Instead of examining a common theme, all artists have personally chosen the topics for the artistic component of their bachelor's thesis project, guided by their own artistic thinking.
