Rong-Ci Zhang

Rong-Ci Zhang is a Taiwanese storyteller and artist based in Helsinki. Most of their works delve into the ghost and trauma caused by geopolitical conflicts and memories, often drawing on personal experiences to tell the intertwined themes through materiality and narration. Their works are often interdependent and transcend categories. There is an invisible battle to be fought – a battle of memory.

Zhang holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Taipei National University of The Arts. Their work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Taiwan, Finland and Greece. Their work was featured in the exhibition Generation 2023 at Amos Rex.
