Nóra Somos

Nóra Somos is a visual artist working with painting and drawing. Somos’ work aims to evoke the imagination. Her paintings are often figurative, using bold colors and depicting human or human-like characters and creatures. Somos is particularly interested in world building. With this aspect of her work, she creates a lore for each painting, evolving through each interpretation. The characters and their stories are in constant, gentle movement, bringing a choreographic element to the work. Somos is currently pursuing her BFA at the Academy of Fine Arts.
