I become shrouded in the painting, which protects my body.
The painting will not let me go: it breaks down boundaries, and everything becomes one and the same.
Translucence and light enter the skin, and I am tied down against the surface.

Artist Barbara Tenuta was born in 1992 in Vantaa.
